Having spent over 30 years with Savills and headed up its London Residential Development team, Dominic Grace is an expert consultant in the fields of property development and sales capability. We sat down with Dominic to discuss the general outlook within London’s residential market right now, as well as some of the key themes that we will be examining at the conference that are likely to drive movement within the sector.
With the repercussions of the pandemic waging on and the reality of Brexit yet to come, 2021 looks set to be a year of settling into new habits and behaviours. We’re looking at some of the key living and working trends to come in the new year, as predicted by experts.
Richard Donnell is Zoopla’s Research and Insight Director and one of the UK’s long-standing property and housing gurus. We asked Richard to provide us with an analysis of the residential market ahead of our upcoming Resi Investment and Build to Rent Conference.
The UK Government are restarting business conferences in June and we shall restart our own programme of property events in September this year. We should reiterate that our sole priority is the safety of all our clients and conference staff. When we restart our live events we shall have all necessary measures in place.
The Venues we are using for our events this year have stringent Covid-19 policies, including sensible social distancing measures and a comprehensive cleaning programme throughout the whole of each conference.
We shall closely follow Government guidance and advice and we won’t hesitate to cancel and refund all delegates in full, in order to keep everybody safe, if necessary. However, we fully expect to run as normal now.
We also respect the desire from many of our clients to get back to seeing their key colleagues, clients and business associates in a safe environment and participate in key discussions about how to plan for the recovery. We are expecting, and indeed we are seeing, huge demand when we do return.
