The planning process is one that has been notoriously bureaucratic and behind the times. However, with most workplaces still closed, organisations have had little choice but to take business online and adapt to new ways of working, including local authorities. So what has changed in planning and viability since then?
The welcome news that the housing market was to reopen came on 13th May, as the government announced the first steps towards easing the lockdown’s practical restraints. What has happened since and what are the predictions for the next few months?
Amidst a global pandemic that no one saw coming, events all over the world cancelled or postponed and students currently being taught exclusively online, the once seemingly untouchable student housing market has a whole new realm of challenges. We’re looking at the latest within the student housing sector and the considerations experts and educational institutions must now face.
Our sole priority is the safety of all our clients and conference staff.
The Venues we are using for our events in the Autumn have stringent Covid-19 policies in place, including sensible social distancing measures and a comprehensive cleaning programme throughout the whole of each conference.
We shall closely follow Government guidance and advice and we won’t hesitate to cancel and refund all delegates in full, in order to keep everybody safe, if necessary.
For delegates who would rather attend the event remotely, there will be online access available for both conference sessions and networking with all other delegates. All attendees will have complete flexibility as to whether to attend virtually or in person, and the freedom to decide whenever they like.
We also respect the desire from many of our clients to get back to seeing their key colleagues, clients and business associates in a safe environment and participate in key discussions about how to plan for the recovery.
