Terms and Conditions

1. By placing a booking via this website, you are engaging in a contract of sale with London Development Events Ltd (Company number 05994382 trading as LD Events) to attend a conference and pay for this attendance, in accordance with the terms below. 
   
2. As soon as a booking is made via this website, then it is fully confirmed. It cannot be cancelled but delegate name changes are permitted until 24 hours prior to the start of the conference.
   
3. Payments are due within 30 days from the date of invoice (the date a booking is made) by Bank Transfer (BACS) or alternatively can be paid by Credit Card online at time of booking. By placing this booking you accept that invoice delivery is via email and upon receipt this then needs to then be settled, if not already paid by credit card.
   
4. By placing a booking at one of our events, you are agreeing that you have the authority of the organisation you represent to do so. You also agree that you will be able to make a £ Sterling payment to us by bank account transfer or cheque directly to our UK bank account, without the need for international tax registration, forms, or reclaiming of fees from any other jurisdiction or authority. It should also not be necessary for LD Events to fill in any other forms, provide any other documentation or engage in any further accounting registration process, be that paper forms, online forms, by telephone, or any other method. LD Events will only provide an invoice by email, made out to your company or organisation for payment, and this should then be paid upon receipt.
   
5. Should an invoice not be paid within 30 days of the invoice date, then any discount rates secured at the time of booking will no longer be valid, and the cost of each ticket will be the full price of £799 plus VAT and under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998, we reserve the right to charge interest on late payments at a rate of 8% per annum above base rate on top of this for late payment.
   
6. Should a delegate be ill on the day of an event, the delegate place can be transferred to a colleague but not cancelled. Only in extreme circumstances, and completely at the discretion of LD Events, can a place be cancelled because of illness, and a doctor’s note shall be required. Under no circumstances can a ticket be resold or transferred to a third party. 
   
7. Should it be necessary, LD Events reserves the right to cancel an event at any time and/or also cancel any booking at anytime, completely at it’s own discretion. Should this happen, LD Events will refund the cost of the conference ticket but our total aggregate liability for any conference booking, in respect of all other losses, will not exceed the amount of the charges paid to us for that booking. LD Events also reserves the right to change the date, delivery format, and/or venue of any event should it be necessary, and/or host the event online, at their sole discretion. 
   
8. By booking onto a conference all delegates agree to abide by the following Coronavirus policies, which are in place to protect all attendees at the conference from infection risk. Should any delegate, booked onto any conference, have symptoms of, or a positive test for, or have to isolate for, Coronavirus, within 14 days of that conference, either before or afterwards, they must inform LD Events immediately by email. Should this be before or on the day of the event then that delegate will have two options available. They should attend the event virtually online or send a replacement delegate to attend in person. No refund or partial refund will be offered in any circumstances. It is mandatory for all delegates to comply with any health and safety measures put into place by the UK Government, LD Events, or the conference centre, for the safety of all delegates.
   
9. LD Events cannot accept responsibility for any of the views, opinions or comments of anybody present at any of our events, be it the Chairman, speakers or any other attendee.
   
10. By booking onto a conference, all delegates accept that they may be photographed or appear on video recordings of our events, either on a live basis, or published in the future.
    
11. By placing a booking will be registered to receive Conference information by email. You also consent that we will hold all the information that you type into the form on our system & your electronic details, so that we may process your booking and send you information relating to our conferences, for example, joining instructions, invoices, conference materials, delegate lists, plus anything else relating to our events. By booking onto our events you consent that other delegates at our conferences will be able to see that you have booked a ticket, unless you explicitly request otherwise in advance of an event. Your contact details will never be passed to any third parties and you will be protected by our Privacy Policy
    
12. The contents of this website are true and to a high standard according to our knowledge but agendas, speakers and content of events are subject to changes which may be beyond our control. We do our very best to list information that is as accurate as possible but we are unable to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information on this website. No legal responsibility can be taken for omissions, errors, or changes.
