Virtual Conference Terms & Conditions

By placing a booking, you are engaging in a contract of sale with London Development Events Ltd (Company number 05994382 trading as LD Events) to attend a virtual online conference and pay for this attendance.
As soon as it is made, a booking is fully confirmed and the full fee is due immediately. Places can be transferred to another delegate name up until 24 hours before the start of any conference, but cannot be completely cancelled.
LD Events shall send an invoice by email, made out to your company or organisation, for payment via bank transfer or cheque. By placing a booking at one of our events, you are agreeing that you have the authority of the organisation you represent to do so. You also agree that you will be able to make a £ Sterling payment to us by bank account transfer or cheque directly to our UK bank account within 30 days, without the need for international tax registration, forms, or reclaiming of fees from any other jurisdiction or authority. It should also not be necessary for LD Events to fill in any other forms or engage in any further accounting registration process, be that paper forms, online forms, by telephone, or any other method.
Payments are due immediately and must be received within 30 days from the date of invoice at the very latest, via cheque or bank transfer. By placing this booking you accept that invoice delivery is via email and that as soon as the invoice is received it needs to be settled.
The full fee will be payable regardless of whether the delegate logs onto the seminar or not. LD Events is not responsible for problems with the internet connection of any delegate, and all attendees should ensure that they have reliable internet access in advance.
When booking onto a virtual conference all tickets are valid for one person only and cannot be shared between individuals. Where multiple delegates from one firm are attending, all will need to be registered and receive a virtual login. Should any login be used by more than one person you will be automatically be charged for the extra delegates and payment will be due immediately. By booking onto the event, you accept this term and that you will keep your login private and not share it with anyone.
LD Events cannot accept responsibility for any of the views, opinions or comments of anybody present at any of our events, be it the Chairman, speakers or any other attendee.
Should it be necessary, LD Events reserves the right to cancel an event at any time and/or also cancel any booking at anytime, completely at it's own discretion. Should this happen, LD Events will refund the cost of the conference ticket but our total aggregate liability for any conference booking, in respect of all other losses, will not exceed the amount of the charges paid to us for that booking. LD Events also reserves the right to change the date, delivery format, and/or venue of any event should it be necessary, at their sole discretion.
You will be registered to receive Conference information by email. You also consent that we will hold all the information that you type into the form on our system & your electronic details, so that we may process your booking and send you information relating to our conferences, for example, joining instructions, invoices, conference materials, delegate lists, plus anything else relating to our events. Your contact details will never be passed to any third parties and you will be protected by our Privacy Policy
